Tenaska Business Challenge
This multi-university competition will challenge students to solve real problems through interdisciplinary solutions. The case will be provided by Tenaska, one of the largest privately-held companies in the United States and a leader in the energy industry.
Meet Our 2024 Team
The team, consisting of Trinity Hatton, Caroline Szukalski, Blythe Heying, and Kate Himmelberg, developed a holistic business solution to a challenge posed by Tenaska. They traveled to Lincoln, Nebraska, to present their business model to a panel of judges, ultimately earning 3rd place.
Meet Our 2025 Teams
We are growing—this year, two national teams represented us at a major competition. Kaitlyn Chapman, Hayden Cook, Mekhi Sherman, and Hannah Hampl earned the Most Innovative Solution award, while Abby King, Maithili Kamble, Izzy Larsen, and Emma Du stood out for their strategic thinking and teamwork.
